My First Card

So I've never made a card before until today, it's always been layouts. For this card I used sketch 146 from Mojo Monday. Well my friend is having her baby shower this weekend so I decided since I didnt have the time to make her a book with premade pages for the baby pictures, I would make her a card. I really like how it turned out, who knows maybe I'll attempt to make another card one day. But for now it's back to catching up on my LO's.

Challenges

So I really had fun with my first scrapbook challenge and it has inspired me to look for more. Hopefully this way I can find cute challenges to enter and finally get the pictures and projects finished that I have been putting off forever.

Snow Doog

So I finally pulled out all of my scrapbooking supplies and pictures and made a new layout. I found some pictures I had printed from this past winter snowstorm and decided to make a layout of my dog Major. Most of the time we call him "Doog" so that is where I got the title Snow Doog. I used the Sketchy Thursdays Sketch for this layout and it was also for the 7.8 Sketch challenge. This is the first challenge I have entered and I really enjoyed it. It inspired me to finish the layout instead of getting frustrated and putting it up.

Yay for first post

Yay for my first post! I finally have some free time from my classes so I have some time to write on here and work on some of my scrap projects. I have a baby shower to go to next weekend and I was thinking about making her a baby book but then decided it was a bad idea since I have no time at all. Maybe I'll just make the card to go with whatever I buy her and maybe eventually I will make something cute to frame for the baby's room. But hopefully I will be posting some new things soon!
